Lab Services Specialist
Description:
EnduroMed is seeking a highly self-motivated Lab Services Specialist to join our fast-paced, dynamic organization working alongside the Medical Education and Loaner Services Teams. The Lab Services Specialist role is a unique opportunity embracing a variety of roles in support of our two Surgical Training Centers in Milwaukee and Madison in educating the salesforce and local health care professionals. Responsibilities will include assisting in the representation and knowledge of Arthrex products. Candidates will need to have strong organizational skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lab Coordination:
Fully facilitate lab event set-up and clean-up.
Provide technical lab support.
Work alongside Medical Education Manager on lab schedule.
Coordinate lab equipment ordering.
Responsible for cadaver specimen ordering, delivery, and disposal.
Support all educational rep training events.
Provide a high level of hospitality for all guests.
Lab Facility Maintenance:
General lab equipment maintenance
Lab equipment inventory- order and maintain:
Cadaver specimens
Lab samples
PPE
Training demos
Cleaning supplies
Printed literature
Refreshments and snacks
Lab cleaning
Loaner Services Support:
Assist the Sales Reps and Product Managers with transporting various medical equipment between healthcare facilities in our geographic territory and our warehouse.
Assist the Loaner Services Team with various inventory management tasks.
Assist in the overall operations of the facility.

Requirements:
Education and Experience:
College associate degree or relevant work experience as a surgical technician, sterile processing specialist, or equivalent.
Experience within orthopedic or medical industry would be advantageous.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to learn a high level of medical surgical information as it relates to Orthopedic, Cardiothoracic, and Spine Surgery.
Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environment with the handling of cadaver specimens.
Must have flexibility regarding work hours, be willing to travel between our Madison and Brookfield labs and be able to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Basic computer skills including ability to utilize MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Current and valid driver’s license.
Access to own transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
